Well, we have a new member of the family here now. His name is Kotter. (After the teacher on Welcome Back Cotter) To give him a great new welcome, we took him to a meeting of the Bluebonnet Bebes in Houston, TX on Sunday. Mom had been invited as a guest as they were making straw hats for us wee ones, and thought she would enjoy it. So we made a hat for Kotter. A cowboy hat. Is he just so handsome in his new hat? Thank you ladies!

How about those Harmony Club Dolls?

Well, Life has been busy lately and lots of things going on. For one my mom is working again! Praise be to the working gods! Now maybe mom will buy me a new dress. I will not hold my breath. Wait, I do not breathe! Well, she did buy a Halloween outfit for my 18" doll friend, from Harmony Club Dolls! www.shop.harmonyclubdolls.com She is so lucky. I did not even get dressed for the holiday. Hmmm. Well, and on top of that, because she played along on their facebook page, www.facebook.com/harmonyclubdollspeaceloveharmony there is an actual Harmony Club Doll coming to live here! What? How can I compete with all of this? Well, whatever makes mom happy!!!  I think she still likes me best. At least I ALWAYS get to travel with her! Until next time I can sneak on to the computer, Love, GinnyW.

On July 26 in New Orleans, LA the UFDC public day to the sales room was held at the Sheraton, New Orleans. My person wanted to go and let me travel with her. We met some of her friends from Houston and had a picture made. My person is the princess!

One of these people looks a little tired!

We also did some walking and went into the French Quarter, because you cannot be that close and not visit Pat O'Brien's

and Cafe du Monde!

And we found a banana on a tree in front of St. Louis Cathedral.

Well, Summer is really here now. It has been unofficially here for several weeks. Ginny and Kramer decided to go swim since the lifeguard was on duty. Please be safe around the waters this summer.

A Little Wind in Kansas

Today we are under a severe weather alert. So Kramer thought it would be a good day to take his new kite out for a test run. He bought it at the Air Museum in Galveston. For all the hoopla about the weather, you would think it might be more windy!

Some of the kids got to go to Galveston, TX and ride on the DUCK tour for the Good Friday Holiday.
Kramer's desire to drive the DUCK would have put us all at risk. Not only could he not reach the pedals, he could not see over the dash!
Petite Fillie and Bleuette had no trouble seeing out of the DUCK.
Ginny W had to get a lift from Kramer.

Ginny's Friend Got New Goodies

I belong to a group for Ann Estelle and Friends. This spring I participated in a
swap with a Spring or Easter theme. I chose the spring theme to send to my
person. I included some garden tools and some "growing eggs" that I found at
Lowes. (dolls not included)
The person that sent to me chose the Easter theme. I got this wonderful lavender dress with tiny bunnies, and it has an ever so subtle shimmer to it. The Hello Kitty® is a key chain Pez® dispenser! The candy never found its way into the kitty! The Easter basket is overflowing with goodies. And we think we can use the carrot to catch us a cwazy wabbit! My Petite Fillies got the dress as she was still in the under garments she arrived in. What fun this was. Of course, Ginny is a wee bit jealous not to be included.

Ginny and Kramer Trade Valentines

Kramer gave Ginny the largest box of chocolates he could find, and she gave him
a pillow as he has complained all the riding has left his backside a bit sore.

Where Does the Time Go?

Sometimes life does things to us that takes our attentions away from what we are passionate about. Hopefully these things pass and life can get back to normal. Mom did let Kramer and I run a tree lot this last Christmas. We made good money and were able to exchange nice gifts. Kramer is so good to me.
He was happy with his gift also, but it comes with responsibilities.
